Connect the negative battery cable. Dispose of deployed airbags and tensioners consistent with state, provincial, local, and federal regulations.

Bearing caps 5 and 9 alternating in a diagonal sequence. Press the new wheel bearing into the bearing housing using the appropriate bearing driver. Raise and safely support the vehicle. Using Polydrive Special tool 3452, or equivalent, loosen, then remove the cylinder head bolts in the proper sequence. Fold the lock carrier forward , along with the radiator assembly.
Be sure to take the appropriate fire safety precautions. With the intermediate shaft sprockets lined up correctly, torque the bolts to 44 ft. Insert camshaft gauge T10068 into both camshaft grooves. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section. Lightly lubricate, then position the bushing on the control arm. Use care not to mix up fuel supply or return lines.
To replace the seal on all vehicles it is necessary to remove the transaxle and flywheel. A groove should be visible between the chain edges. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Using a bearing separator and press, drive hub out of the bearing. Replace all self-locking bolts and nuts.
Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section. The two tabs at the connectors for harness connector must be aligned with each other.
