Original review: April 1, 2019 We bought this boat May 2018 and have had nothing but problems starting with removable cushion soaked with water, wrong ski pole for skiing, trolling motor compartment door caved in, trolling motor battery box filled with water and had to replace batteries, but the fix for theses problems were not corrected properly at Bass Pro. The three passenger seats are movable to 5 different standard pedestal mounts. So I take the boat right over to the lake, put it in the water, turn on fish finder and nothing at all. Their only advise was to trade the boat in and buy the larger boat I initially wanted. I don't get to take it out as much as I would like. Then they found a repair shop in Austin that was willing to do the warranty work.
Original review: July 2, 2018 I bought a brand new Tracker Pro 170 in June of 2016, within 2 years, 2 large cracks in the welds formed and I had to send the boat back for repairs. I purchased this boat in May of 2015. Tracker Marine simply has the best painting process in the industry. Called Tracker and Mercury they just push everything off on dealer and dealer has been doing everything they can to get me in and out. The area that appears extremely prone to oxidation is right around the gas take filler hose that over time out gases and mixes with the trapped water. Starts easily, planes nicely, holds true speed and runs very smooth even in rough water. I will however note as a final say that they have on the site now stem to stern warranty from 2015 and up which from the looks of it does cover the consoles. Checked the back compartment where the batteries are and no water as well. Barely a handful of uses in the last 5 years. It saddens me that I have had to do the research and calling to the marine group when I had a bow to stern warranty card in my possession which I showed the dealer and that tracker would not uphold at the time. Boat has been very enjoyable before it started leaking. The Bow Casting Deck has marine grade carpet. The last 2 being the options Im considering. Some of my concerns are: 1 I cant seem to find any used for sale in north Texas, are they bad Texas boats or are they so good that nobody wants to sell theirs? The factory has decided to take my boat back and make some adjustments. The interior space is efficiently utilized to provide the greatest amount of storage and function.

I honestly advise anyone that is considering an aluminum boat to buy used and check for weld marks on the bottom of the hull. When I talked to him today, he said that they had looked at my boat 3 days ago and decided they were not going to repair it. Four hours on the road and the bearings went out on the axle. After about owning the boat for 1 month remind you in 1 month boat used about 4 times at the most noticed small tear in passenger seat.
You are not going to sink that boat with 5 full grown men in it. What apparently happens is water gets trapped inside the hull beneath the sprayed in foam flotation. Due to the thin aluminum the bow roller has worn the boat down, and started cracking the hull. I immediately went to the internet to find reviews. The damage to me looks to be manufacturing defects or Tracker tightened the screws too much and stressed the plastic. It is insane at this point to think I have no recourse other than to spend more of my money to get a boat I wanted in the first place. Key got stuck in the ignition, engine won't turn over.
